Legal Counsel

Sandoz, the generic pharmaceuticals division of Novartis group, is the second-largest and one of the most reputable generics companies in the world. Sandoz Russia is currently looking for experienced motivated candidate on Legal Counsel vacant position.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a Business Partner to Sales Operations, Retail Key Accounts and Market Access departments;
• Ensure full scope legal support of the company interaction with distributors and pharmacy chains, including contract management, negotiation, settlement, and court trials;
• Negotiate and draft BD&L deals – international deals with IP/MA rights assignment/license;
• Give advice to internal clients on a broad range of legal matters ;
• Educate and train internal clients on legal matters;
• Develop and improve company’s policies and processes;
• Handle special projects as requested.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in multinational companies (preferably pharmaceutical or FMCG);
• Degree in Law. Post graduate education is a plus;
• Deep knowledge of civil and administrative law, anti-trust law, legislation related to pharmaceutical industry;
• Fluent English;
• Excellent interpersonal skills, business judgment, flexibility and ability to work independently;
• Ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams and manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure.
