IP Associate

A mid-size intellectual property firm is looking for an Intellectual Property Associate to join its Russian office.

Responsibilities:

• Handling enforcement and contentious matters
• Handling customs enforcement actions: preparing and filing Customs watch applications, reporting seizures and handling any further actions related to seizures
• Performing, supervising, coordinating and reporting investigations
• Handling cancellation, revocation actions, or any other contentious actions before local administration/courts
• Analyzing and advising clients on best filing strategies and handling some trademark prosecution matters

Requirements:

• Law School University degree
• Excelent and professional command of English language (both written and verbal)
• min. 3 years of experience as Junior Associate/Associate in the IP field
• Detail oriented
• Strong analytical skills
• High sense of responsibility
• Ability to work independently and manage various projects
• Good time management skills and ability to prioritize and utilize resources as available
• Strong computer skills, not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
