Job Purpose

Argus is a fast-growing global B2B media company providing essential information to the oil, gas, chemical, fertilizer, metallurgy, agricultural industries. We are currently looking for a sales manager to increase the revenue across the Russian market. Working in Moscow sales team, you will negotiate with current clients in Russia and CIS area identifying their current needs and offering them our products.

Key responsibilities

  • Active search of the new clients and cross-sell opportunities in existing clients (Product — subscriptions)
  • Work with current Argus clients in the region (focus on fertilizer, coal and transportation)
  • Increasing volume of sales to meet sales target
  • Identify market trends and opportunities
  • Participation in conferences and meetings
  • Business trips about once per month

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in B2B sales
  • Experience in license, IP or/and subscription product sales is a MUST
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent), Economics, Oil and Gas, Chemistry are preferable
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills and ability to network
  • MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills are required, CRM databases experience such as Salesforce
  • ENGLISH — strong upper-intermediate (minimum)!
